I don’t put any stock into “Pope is dying” rumors until he’s actually dead.
If the Church worldwide distributes information like the American dioceses I have experienced, then bad news is distributed *only* by rumour until the last possible moment. Meanwhile, diocesan people reprimand those listening to rumours.
This smells like that.
It’s a lousy way to administer a diocese, but I would not be surprised if that’s also the Vatican management style.
I am not a fan of this pope’s “daily business”. I pray he die in a state of grace though and that Our Lord will grant us a holy pope
“Improving slightly” means “still breathing on his own.”
I can recall the Holy Father’s commentary about Cardinal Burke’s illness a few years ago. I wonder if he remembers what he said now.
I agree with Madgalene, and the quicker the better. May God Almighty have mercy on the Beloved Bride of His Son Christ Jesus.
