It’s too bad that Dreher left the church. That said, he usually sounds more Catholic than the Pope.
The Church is always more than the actions and pronouncements of one man, unless that man is Christ himself.
It’s the lapdogs who block the means for peaceful reform who set the stage for things like the Reformation. The clerical abuse scandal was allowed to fester and resulted in crippling legal sanctions against the Church. This is money that is no longer available to carry out the work of the Church.
Our faith is in CHRIST JESUS — No the yoyo brain who may be his minister!
I have known may fine priest and what not, and few whose only purpose seems to show that Jesus is in charge not men.
Abit rich from Rich Raho. Who is he exactly? Faithfulness to moral doctrine and observing religious sacraments and obligations is an indication of love of the Church. Not liking or disliking the clergy. Clergy come and go. Gods Truths remain.
Mr. Raho is a high school religion instructor. You remember that catastrophe at Charlotte Catholic High School in 2014? The instigator was the recently departed religion instructor, acting through a twit in the student body. (Which does not, of course, excuse the bishop from being a capon or the complaining parents from being ass!oles).
