I have said here many times how grateful I am for having moved away from Washington, DC. What a lousy bunch of bishops they have had.
My favorite example (so far, at least) of pearl-clutching by clueless hierarchs is the clown in Rome who bleated that cutting off the USAID gravy train “will kill millions of people.” I believe it was Cdl. Czerny. Congratulations on such a rational, thoughtful reaction, Your Eminence. 🤦🏼♂️
These are the same prelates who tut-tutted about ‘mixing the Church and politics’ when +Cordelione announced he would deny Communion to Nancy Pelosi over her support for abortion. Has anyone ever seen +McElroy at the March for Life?
Pope Julius is gonna have to learn that the Republic of Venice does not take his orders on civil matters.
One of these bishops is going to learn the hard way that there is a lot of pissed off laity that will counter protest their BS if even *slightly* more pressed.
