PopeWatch: They Were Kung Fu Fighting

Donald R. McClarey
Cradle Catholic. Active in the pro-life movement since 1973. Father of three, one in Heaven, and happily married for 43 years. Small town lawyer and amateur historian. Former president of the board of directors of the local crisis pregnancy center for a decade.

You realize that he is really excessively obese. I think he loves food most of all.
Sometime soon, perhaps, we will get a pope who loves the Catholic Church.
It’s one of the things I pray for.

Oh, so Buddha is a great healer? Who knew? Golly, if this comes from the pope surely it is worthy of belief! (not)
He would do better to focus on bringing the SSPX and similar sorts of organizations fully into the actively operating Catholic faith.
..On a side note, my pastor at Mass yesterday commented upon how my parish will be hosting a few visitors next weekend. Apparently they’re part of an effort by the Vatican to visit FSSP. It’ll be interesting to see what happens.
We need to pray extra for the FSSP. An apostolic visitation is almost never good news, especially under this regime, all the more so when the objects of the exercise are traditionalist orders.
