Why even have ‘holy days of obligation’? One year the day is obligatory and the next year not. They have been destroyed. When a parish has 4 masses on a weekend but only offers 1 for a ‘holy day’, you know that they have lost their significance and recognition. Either have them all the time or get rid of them.
