News that I missed, courtesy of The Babylon Bee:
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Federal agent Ray Epps will step down from his role as head of PSYOPS at the end of the Biden administration, the agency said Thursday, ending a distinguished career of covertly manipulating the American people.
Epps said it was important to retire now and preserve his pension before he was forced out by Trump and lost it all.
“I’ve paid my dues,” Epps said with a smile. “I’ve secretly been pulling the strings for the deep state a long time and it’s time for me to enjoy my retirement before Trump gets on my case about inciting January 6.”
FBI Director Christopher Wray, who is also stepping down at the end of the Biden administration, praised Ray Epps for the incredible work he’s done turning Americans against each other. “Without Epps, America would be a downright peaceful place,” he said. “We owe him a debt of gratitude.”
Epps has been with the service since the 60s, first rising to prominence in the bureau thanks to his collaboration with the CIA to kill JFK. He enjoyed a long career as a Deep State agent, but after two failed Trump assassination attempts he decided it was time to throw in the towel.
“I’m slowing down a bit,” Epps said, taking a long drag on a Cuban cigar. “But that doesn’t mean I’m done. Maybe I’ll spend some time on a beach destabilizing Argentina for a while. You gotta keep busy.”
Go here to read the rest. I am sure the FBI is doing little right now other than running the shredders 24-7 and blanking every hard drive they can get their hands on. Very easy these days to keep digital copies, and I bet a lot of Feds plan to be whistleblowers one Trump takes over again. Pass the popcorm.

I attended a lecture by the late Gottfried Dietze 40 years ago. He said one thing he disliked about law enforcement in this country was the use of agents provacateur. He said there are things done by police in the U.S. which could get an officer prosecuted in some continental countries. (The point of departure was a political corruption case in which the FBI had manufactured a set of criminal offenses).

Christopher Wray’s evasions tell you Epps was on the payroll, as were most of those in the Whitmer caper. It’s one of those things (along with the refusal to record interviews) which tells you the culture of the FBI is rotten to the core).

So true.
If it wasn’t for grandkids I’d leave Michiganistan.

CNN labels it a dangerous conspiracy theory today. Their headline was “no undercover FBI agents at the January 6 US Capitol Riot.” They just had dozens of informants there. Also, they didn’t use any of the information that the informants gave them. Also, several of the informants broke the law which the FBI claims to have known nothing about, but all the informants were mysteriously not charged with any crime despite the general attitude towards the Jan 6 protestors from the Department of Justice.
All of those things were admitted in the CNN article, and they would have strenuously denied them even two weeks ago. But they pretend that the whole point of contention was instead about having undercover FBI agents, so the whole thing’s still a conspiracy theory.
Pretty standard media tactic. When you are forced to admit something you’d rather not, pretend that you already admitted it and that you were denying something else. Same thing we saw with Planned Parenthood selling body parts. At first it was denied that they engaged in any such sales. Then when it became possible to deny, the mainstream sources instead said that all along what they meant was Planned Parenthood did not sell body parts for a profit.
It’s all so tiresome.
