Having spent time in Alberta (for work), I truly do consider the people there to be Americans trapped within. Picture hardworking Texans in the North with abundant resources, on horseback with baseball caps, plains and the Rockies, and that’s Alberta.
There’s often been talk of their succession from Canada, or becoming the 51st state. We’d still have to drive through Canada to get to Alaska, but Alberta is worthy-

Rats with wings. And protected like other rats. We literally have a special assessment district where we pay taxes to transport the geese to other lakes. It seemed to work…And then the swans took over. They’re bigger and more aggressive but there are fewer of them…
Tell me why we can’t just shoot them???
