This is wonderful. Based on the issues they discussed, I felt as if I were listening to this interview in 2004 . . . What a treasure we had with both of these men, a treasure that is no where to be found today. I think Father Neuhaus had the same gift.

The style of the interview is interesting.

We are used to seeing polished sets with contrived questions, and yet here you have the interviewer natural, sorting papers on and off the floor, no fancy back drops just discussing the topics. And the way the interviewer is not afraid to question Archbishop Sheen on statements and even correcting him shows a well researched interview. You become lost watching the two minds going back and forth. It’s like watching a really good tennis match.

It’s honestly what we are missing in the media. I don’t think there is an interviewer like this today – most of the good ones can come across as aggressive or arrogant at times.

Just goes to show how much commentary in the media has declined- been cheapened.
