A couple of House Republicans have been tapped for cabinet level positions. So there will be new elections to replace them. The majority hold therefore is still a bit tenuous.
They are being chosen from what should be safe Republican areas, although nothing should be taken for granted in the special elections that are held.
Has the Peronist-Jesuit head of the Vatican City State offered any form of acknowledgment (congratulations) to the US President-Elect?

My 1st reaction was to beg to differ to this about returning to the grand old party. Now I just think that it hasn’t been grand in my lifetime which is fairly long. It’s been populated with sycophants, deep staters and people more concerned about being being accepted or praised than in doing what their constituents wanted. I’ve been an elected official so I know you can’t make everyone happy, but the people that voted for you put you there for a reason. Just do what you said you were gonna do. Matt 5:37.
