David dePape committed a menu of offenses: burglary, unlawful imprisonment, assault, and criminal mischief. I think the maximum sentence under New York Law would be an indeterminate term of imprisonment with eligibility for parole after 18 years. At one time, the minimum would have incorporated a parole hearing after two years; I think maybe there’s a mandatory minimum of five years.
