The migrant/border issue probably did more to tank black and Hispanic turnout for Kamala than any other issue. The level of resentment in various large “sanctuary” cities against the massive number of migrants being provided with shelter, food, cash, etc. while longtime residents were pushed aside was considerable. When you have black Chicago residents going to City Council meetings and saying they will vote for Trump, and members of the Gangster Disciples (!) complaining that gang violence from Tren de Arugua is getting out of hand, it’s no wonder Kamala significantly “underperformed” Biden in Chicago and elsewhere.
Here’s hoping canvass bags of ballots do not start appearing in odd places in public buildings (with the imprimatur of Democratic operatives in robes, natch).

For now, the Blue Wall is no more and the Obama coalition, such as it was, has been shattered.
Obama’s third term has been an unmitigated failure and the Democrats have been rightly punished for it…though not enough yet.
This has been a lesson to not underestimate the silent majority. I think this time round voters (black, brown or white) were smart enough to cast their ballot without giving much away to the other side. That way, they couldn’t be played.
