Another prediction question: will there be widespread rioting,destruction and violence if Trump wins? I see some people on the Right predicting this and saying we must prepare for “the most dangerous time ever in our history”, pack our bug-out bags, avoid all cities, stock up on food, water and ammo, etc.
On the other hand, where I live (Springfield IL and surrounding areas) I didn’t see any public meltdowns in 2017, nor did we see any rioting in 2020 or after at least 2 other incidents in the past 3 years that could easily have been turned into George Floyd 2.0 (and that, IMO, were actually more egregious in terms of police or first responder misconduct). So I have a hard time believing that everyone around me is suddenly going to go postal if Trump wins. Is that “normalcy bias” or common sense?
Of couse there will be wailing and gnashing of teeth should Trump win. Riots, too. So be it.

For years I have told my wife to locate/obtain one critical piece of information…when her adoptive father became a naturalized US citizen…to obtain citizenship for herself.
Another election will come and go and she can’t vote.

Assuming the man naturalized after 1956, the following link will help to obtain the documents needed. If the jurisdiction of the court is known, it may be faster to go there instead of the glacially slow Feds. If you have problems with the Feds, talk to your congressman’s office (or senator’s). They generally love to flex their lobbying muscles for this sort of stuff (almost as good as kissing babies). AND speaking as one who spent a few years in a federal agency, they generally jump when inquiries on congressional letterhead show up.

From what I can tell, riots only break out and continue for days when the city government is controlled by the Left, and when it’s politically advantageous to the Left to have that kind of “anarchic tyranny” (as it’s been called). This seems to account for every riot that was worthy of note in the past four or five years: west coast cities, Dallas, Austin, D.C., et al.
Contrariwise, if the Left wants just the authoritarian part of anarcho-tyranny, then no riots break out: e.g. forcibly removing homeless people from San Francisco for Chairman Xi’s visit.
I pray that the optimism of a Trump victory proves justified. Half the country is imbecilic and supports liberal progressivism.
