Truth matters, but a full blown investigation over an apostrophe when most people no longer punctuate texts seems… futile.
It’s like ignoring the murder one charge and really working to build the case on public urination.
Anyone willing to state publicly that they “heard an apostrophe” is not only willing to overtly lie for the cause but is more than happy to look like a complete fool doing so.
I’m with Don on this: Biden is doing his best to undermine Kamala and reclaim for himself, at the same time, the role of chief Trump antagonist. He’s an evil old thing, and this kind of behavior is nothing to him.
Don’t forget: he gave an in-person briefing to the press corps exactly at the beginning of one of Kamala’s infrequent rallies in order to make clear that she was a “big part” of this administration and participated in every major decision. That seems persuasive that he’s making all these gaffes on purpose.
I agree too, Fr. J. I thought so when Biden said Governor DeSantis was “doing a great job” while Harris was complaining that the Florida Governor wouldn’t take her calls after the hurricanes … That move totally took the wind out of her sails.
I have a hunch Jill is playing no small role in all this too, and after seeing Biden don the MAGA hat for a photo opp, it wouldn’t surprise me if they both voted for Trump just to spite her.
