How the Catholic Church flourished without novelties is anyones guess, but mine is down to earth Prayer, Penance and frequenting the Sacraments. Nothing cute or coy. Just doing the right things to live in Sanctifying Grace…but hey, there’s no money in that, so what do I know?

This is the *opposite* of everything the Pope has been talking about during his Papacy: the environment, consumerism, corporate greed, the workers rights…hypocrisy and immaturity working hand-in-hand at the Vatican. My husband used to joke around with me “Is the Pope Catholic” whenever I ask an obvious question. Now I say “Well, actually not quite sure”.
