Burn of the Day

Few professions have burned more credibility over the past half decade than the medical profession.

I’d say our so-called “journalists” are neck-and-neck with these medical professionals in their willingness to prostitute their respective professions for political ends. There’s just a smoking crater where public trust and respect used to be.

Oh yeah. Of the 230, I’m sure that not one of them is biased in regard to their political affiliation.( sarcasm)

CBS news. Where were they hiding as we watched the reports coming back from “White House” doctors that Uncle Joe was “fit” for command? The dangers of an monopoly in broadcast journalism have been front and center for over a decade now. If we ever get into a civil war, the malfeasance of the MSM will undoubtedly be one of the reasons why.

Go to hell, propaganda Networks.

The public health establishment made a bonfire of their credibility. Some of them have MDs, but few are working doctors. One exasperated surgeon said on a board in which I’m a participant that Anthony Fauci hadn’t treated a patient in 40 years. See Dr. Atlas on the subject of Fauci, Birx, and Redfield. He would come to meetings with a stack of studies to discuss and discover they were uninterested. They’re not researchers, either. They’re institutional politicians.

Where you see the medical profession self-immolating, the bad actors are commonly in one of several loci: professional association boards, university administrators, and hospital administrators.
==
Dave Griffey had some complaints about working doctors which came to be manifest during COVID (which swept through his entire household).
==
The 230 people on this list are I’m guessing a jumble of characters who have something to do with the delivery of medical care. You’re not looking at a list of 230 physicians and surgeons.

Well, Michelle Malkin in withdrawing from public life said the profession she entered in 1992 no longer existed. There is no reporting, merely ‘information ops’. The revenue stream for news organizations has dried up, you’ve seen a secular decline in the population who want to work in journalism, and an escalating tendency to hire garbage people paid to lie for the Democratic Party. There’s a residue of reporting on local patch sites and on local television news, but that’s it. You want to learn something about national politics, you have to read British newspapers.

While we’re at it, the mental health trade is at least as deeply implicated in the translunacy as the medical profession. Free associating here, did you catch that Audrey Hale had been under the supervision of mental health tradesmen since 2001? There’s never going to be an audit by a set of skeptical inquirers of what they did do and did not do during those 22 years.

What ever happened to “Physician, do no harm.” aka the Hippocratic oath?

Not The Bee… but certainly The Bubble.

These people live in their own little world. The borders of which depend on their hoodwinking us. It’s not working and they’re going to have a very hard time coping with that.

Must be re-iterated. Was there ever a list of 230 people assembled demanding an audit fof Joseph Biden’s condition courtesy a randomly selected board of physicians?

You’ll recall in 2008 that John McCain sat down with a set of reporters, a thick file of his medical history present and consulted and answered questions from them one-on-one. BO got away with one page from his internist telling the world he was AOK. You’ll also recall the incident in 2016 where Hellary had to be hustled away from a ceremonial occasion in Manhattan and practically hurled into a van by security and taken to Chelsea’s glam apartment. What followed shortly was a statement from her internist that she was AOK. It was noted at the time that the internist would not before she issued the statement have had the time to commute to Chelsea’s place to actually examine her.

CAM,

They ditched the Hippocratic Oath before 2020. Most schools have some oath, but it tends to be a University created oath. For example, here’s Washington University’s:

“I will educate and empower my patients and their families to make choices that honor their values and beliefs …
I will navigate medicine’s complexity with my best judgment, hold myself accountable for my actions, and seek forgiveness …
I will be cognizant of my biases and privileges and work to mitigate their effects on my patient care
I will challenge injustices, recognize my duty in a larger society, and advocate for change.”

and here’s Yale’s:

“We will not permit considerations of age, disease, disability, creed, ethnic origin, gender, nationality, political affiliation, race, sexual orientation, social standing, financial status, or any other factors to stand between the care we seek to provide and our patients. …
We will always be truthful. We will not blur, omit, or fabricate information relevant to our patients’ care or to the effectiveness of the team.”

Taken from this site:

You’ll find that “first do no harm” has mysteriously vanished from many oaths. Certainly most doctors do not have any problems with abortion and euthanasia, for example.

Nine out of ten “Medical Professionals” surveyed recommend precisely what they’re paid to recommend.

Was there ever a list of 230 people assembled demanding an audit of Joseph Biden’s condition courtesy a randomly selected board of physicians?”

If there was, we’d have never heard about it.

Aren’t we all.(?)
I suppose that things are not going to get better any time soon. What a hot mess we are in.

Back in the ancien regime, one was described as “pious in medicine” if he followed the advice (i.e., quackery) of the physicians. We’re talking having hot glass jars placed on your back to draw out the humors. Anyhow, I thought of that phrase when all the COVID vaccine madness started back in 2020, when in the Navy we had Navy physicians tell us how safe and effective all three brands of vaccine were, even for pregnant women! They were such liars. Well, either liars or idiots.

As my father once told me, there are only two kinds of doctors in the military, good ones and old ones.

Thank you, R. Harrier, for the links. Sad state but guess better than nothing. Bet malpractice insurance companies may even have canned paragraphs for the schools to cover their six.

My brother in the mid 1970s had a USN scholarship to Georgetown U Med School. He was appalled to find out that Medical Ethics was only an elective course.

They truly are clutching at straws to ensure he doesn’t win. I call BS on those “230” medics.

The man dodged a grazed bullet from an assassination attempt and yet still had the composure to ask to collect his shoes 5 seconds later! And without missing a beat, continued to give hours long speeches in complete sentences to sold out rally’s.

Meanwhile Biden wanted to fight the Easter Bunny who crept up on him at a egg hunt…

In the spirit of full disclosure, has Obama’s birth certificate been located yet?

Art Deco mentioned that those making major decisions in the medical industry are invariably NOT bona fide doctors or if they are, have NOT functioned as such in years if not decades. Similarly, three of the four commissioners in the US NRC are flunkies (the Chair – Chris Hanson – has a degree in religious studies) without any commercial or Naval nuclear power experience, nor any degrees in nuclear engineering. Only Annie Caputo – the Republican – has a nuclear engineering degree and commercial nuclear power experience. And it’s been this way since nominations made to the US NRC by William Jefferson “I did not have sex with that woman” Clinton

I am sure a similar situation exists with the FAA, the FDA, the Chemical Safety Board, etc. ad nauseam. Now you know why the FAA goes after SpaceX but ignores Boeing’s 737 mishaps and its Starliner disaster. Opposing Elon Musk’s anti-wokism is more important than aircraft passenger and astronaut lives. This gross incompetency is NOT limited to just the medical industry. It’s everywhere! I thank God that I got my nuclear experience at 800 feet down beneath the North Atlantic where making the right decision regardless of whom it offends is NOT an option.
