News that I missed, courtesy of The Babylon Bee:
U.S. — Politicians continue to admonish Trump supporters, warning that a vote for Donald Trump is a vote for World War III. This latest series of warnings comes amidst a campaign stop for Kamala Harris where various Democrats were seen autographing various bombs, missiles, and other implements of destruction for the public.
“Donald Trump is going to wipe out our very existence with his endless wars,” said Governor Josh Shapiro as he signed a medium-range cluster bomb destined for detonation over Russia.
The U.S. is currently involved in pseudo-wars in both Ukraine and Israel, but Democrats are convinced that the seeds of what began during Biden’s reign will ferment into full-scale nuclear war the very moment Trump takes office. “We must de-escalate immediately!” Nancy Pelosi said as she signed a long-range missile that will be launched at a Russian daycare. “Trump is going to blow up so many babies.”
Go here to read the rest. The Democrats decided to weaponize the Ukraine War against Trump. Putin must be continually chuckling over this. Bad politics and disastrous foreign policy.
Things are getting serious:

Poking the bear and “not” expecting retaliation is a fools paradise.. however, Cornpop crusader Biden has been a 1/2 bubble out of plum for quite some time. We shouldn’t be too surprised at this level of incompetence from his administration.
They orchestrated the Afghanistan pull out so I’m sure that they anticipated this level of threat from Putin. (sarc)
God forbid a third world war but if it comes
WWIII will be the Dems crowning moment. Crown of Chaos.
Putin has threatened nuclear retaliation so many times I’ve lost count in the last few years and it’s getting more and more difficult to take his threats seriously. He’s become a “boy who cried wolf”, although there’s always the possibility he could really mean it this time, and that’s no reason to unnecessarily provoke him.
I am not so much worried about a deliberate action by Putin, as the antiquated technology of the Russians in regard to their nukes. Strikes by the Ukrainians deep in Russia could cause a control system to erroneously think that an American first strike is underway. Unlikely? Sure. Worth the risk for the US? Not a chance. My sympathies are all with the Ukrainians, but all out war with the Russians is not going to defeat Putin.
