God will be so relieved to hear this.
All this time His Church labored, suffered, died at the hands of false profits….and for what?
Nothing?
The Church had it wrong.
Let us Embrace Muhammad.
Conversions?
Why?
The Eucharist?
Why?
Oh. God must be so pleased at this news from his…..mouthpiece?
No wonder he hates traditionalism.
The Church of Nice is the church of Francis.
Lightning did strike St. Peters dear Frank.
On a very disheartening day.
It can happen again.
Just say’n.
Maybe this new Church should take the Corpus off of every crucifix in Christendom as to not intimidate our Protestant Brothers.
St. Wrecking Ball….your table is ready.
A great reminder from Lifesite news;
In 1832, Pope Gregory XVI subsequently wrote his encyclical Mirari Vos condemning the error of “indifferentism.” He warned that:
This perverse opinion is spread on all sides by the fraud of the wicked who claim that it is possible to obtain the eternal salvation of the soul by the profession of any kind of religion, as long as morality is maintained. Surely, in so clear a matter, you will drive this deadly error far from the people committed to your care. With the admonition of the apostle that “there is one God, one faith, one baptism” may those fear who contrive the notion that the safe harbor of salvation is open to persons of any religion whatever.”
As Muslims flood the UK and Mosques replace Catholic churches as places of worship, it’s a great feeling isn’t it, to know that unity is sweeping the landscape. As heads will be severed off the infidels that don’t participate in this Unity one can take great comfort knowing that Frank helped in your future martyrdom.
Sweet.
“Unity is not uniformity, and the diversity of our cultural and religious
identities is a gift from God. Unity in diversity.”
Someone should take PF aside and explain that there are “matters of truth” where disputes are fruitful and “matters of taste” where disputes are not fruitful.
And that there are absolute truths, to which some cultures, religions and peoples have discovered and some still oppose.. diversity in truth (your truth / my truth) does not lead to harmony, it leads to war.
-but if someone did, horribly it would do no good.
Happily, no such blather has the power or authority to change the teaching of the Church. Facts, revealed to us by Christ, always take precedence over the statements of the foolish or the wise.
Don’t jump out of the lifeboat just because some guy in the back is prating on. His words are inconsequential compared to the very real sharks waiting outside the boat.
