PopeWatch: Amazon Rite

Go here to read the story.  So full steam ahead on a rite that no one wants other than Left wing clerics and Jesuits, while the traditional Mass is sent to the catacombs.  So is life under the Bizzaro World pontificate.

He just can’t stop tearing down everything. The Bergoglian Church may go down as one of the Great Heresies of all time. St. Pius X couldn’t even imagine this, I would guess.

And meanwhile, IIRC, surveys show Pentecostal Protestants now outnumber practicing Catholics in most of South America. Because their missionaries are actually preaching the Gospel.

Philip is correct. This is just more syncretism with pagan environmentalism.

Interesting about “updated” rites is that PF et al seem oblivious to the fact that Eastern Churches and Orthodox Jews who stick to original forms do not appear to have these controversies. Seems there is something about tradition and form that provides a level of comfort for congregants.

What modernists refuse to understand is no updates may be made to the Salvation 2.0 program unless authorized by the Administrator.

Update from Salvation 1.0 was a… crucial upgrade that expanded the user base exponentially. Rollout has still not been fully implemented in all markets, but functionality has recently been impaired by incompatible add ons and shortcuts. Unauthorized versions are also prevalent in some markets.

Salvation 2.0 continues to be stable and effective and needs no update. (However, there are rumors that changes will be made directly by the Administrator in the near future.)
