Gold Star Families Speak

During World War II, if you had a son, or a daughter, in service, you displayed a blue star at your house.  In the event of his death in service, and the level of grief those simple words convey cannot be fathomed unless it is experienced, a gold star was displayed.  On the third anniversary of the disgraceful bug out from Afghanistan, some of the gold star families of the 13 service members killed in that debacle, and who have been ignored by the Biden-Harris administration, asked Trump to join them at Arlington in honoring their loved ones, and Trump did so.  The administration had a female bureaucrat at Arlington attempt to prevent Trump from joining the ceremony.  She was brushed aside.  Harris and  her media auxiliaries have attempted to make this an issue, merely underlining their callous treatment of these gold star families.  As Sophocles noted in his play Antigone, Whom the gods would destroy, they first make mad.

Let’s not forgot how together, Obama, Bush and Clinton used Arlington on Inauguration Day 2021 for political purposes:

According to a comment posted over at Instapundit this morning, all 13 of the families have taken to social media to excoriate Harris and the MSM, and are getting quite a bit of attention and reposting, especially on Tik Tok. I will never knowingly allow the CCP onto any of my devices, so I’ll have to take these commenters’ word for it as to that particular platform, but it seems to be a major issue that won’t go away, now that the lapdog MSM has stepped in and made a big deal out of the situation. Sure hope so.

(R) Tom Cotton wiped the floor with Meet the Press hostess today regarding the visit to Arlington.

A good interview, imo.
