I have strongly considered Orthodoxy over the past four years, and I suppose I haven’t really stopped–the Eastern liturgy and calendar have grown on me over the past few months. If you’re going to be an Eastern Catholic, learning your heritage invariably leads you to Orthodox resources.
But the Churches of the Orthodox communion are beset with awful leadership, starting with Kirill. Sadly, much of contemporary Orthodoxy in the Western world just seems like bearded Anglicanism–as the above picture makes clear. I can’t condemn those who have swum over, yet I am not convinced.
