Ranger Wasn’t Biting Anyone Either

George Bush the Elder could be a clever and sweet man.  Too bad he betrayed his no new taxes pledge, slept walked through his re-election campaign and gave us Clinton.  (Then he and his son, Bush the Lesser, played nice with Clinton and his hideous wife, as if it were all a game that only the idiots who voted for the Bushes took seriously.)  The failure of his campaign laid the seeds for Donald Trump, with the insane H. Ross Perot being the precursor.  On the whole, I wish Ranger had been in charge.

In different ways and to different degrees, the Bushes betrayed the people who voted for them. So did John McCain. So did Mitt Romney.

Steven Sailer has offered the opinion that the Bush and Walker families make a collecting pool of very competitive men and that this drives their political involvements. There are certain boundaries they are not going to cross at any given time, but otherwise issues are fungible. Same deal with Mitt Romney. Romney also seems weirdly zoned out, in matters both large and small.

Says a lot about Bush Snr to indulge Ranger to the point of him being over weight. Some people should not have pets.

I think the point, Ezabelle, was that Ranger was super adorable and all the staff were giving him treats when GHWB wasn’t looking 🙂

Poor Ranger. He was being punished for winning his battle with anorexia 😆
