Delayed by a cyber attack, and the sheer number of people who wanted to hear it, above is the interview of Trump by Musk. It is a friendly interview, since Musk is a supporter, a mirror image of the fawning coverage that Harris has been receiving from the mainstream media. It is a relaxed, conversational format which I think works well for Trump.

Elong? Who’s Elong?
I suspect a Malay cousin of Elon!
I haven’t yet listened to their entire conversation, but it looks like it’s terrifying all the right people.
Musk had been threatened in an official letter from Thierry Breton, the European Commission’s chief censorship mandarin, that Breton would deploy all means available to him under the EU’s Digital Services Act against Twitter/X if Musk and Trump’s broadcast breached any EU restrictions on speech. The chutzpah!
And, ‘coincidentally’, Twitter/X came under an intense, sophisticated cyber attack just as the Trump/Musk conversation was scheduled to begin. Fortunately, the event was only delayed and not shut down.
Of course all of the worst politicians, lapdog corporate media, dimwitted celebrities, and leftist organizations one can think of have been up in arms over the idea that in America two grown men could sit down and have a long talk about their views on current affairs and the future of the country— and broadcast that conversation in case others might want to hear what they had to say.
The only thing lacking from this picture of Trump and Musk infuriating all the right people is some sort of passive-aggressive snotty comment from the Vatican. That would be * chef’s kiss *.

Digital Services Act?
uhh yeah…right ‘o good chap.
barf.
Loved Trump’s shout out to Illinois as a “badly run state” with a “real loser” as governor!
That was great Elaine!
Philip, Elon Musk took to X to respond to Breton’s clumsy attempt at intimidation. Musk posted that, out of deference to the EU’s censorship regs, he would decline to post a certain meme, and then posted a screenshot of that meme.
The meme itself is unsuitable for a respectable blog like American Catholic, but it directed Mr. Breton perform an astonishing and anatomically unlikely act upon himself.
And I have to say, Breton had that coming.
