Don, you mentioned 1776; all of this takes me back to the play/film of that name – when Franklin is needling Dickinson about rebellion and how “our” rebellion is ok because of the first person, and so forth.
Now we have a very serious attempted application of that principle – “my” hate speech is perfectly fine, it’s “yours” we need to eradicate, because it is “violent”.
My friends thought I was nuts four years ago when I said we’d be in a civil war by 2030-32. Now I’m starting to wonder if that was optimistic.
Ruling elites throughout the West have decided to call all opposition far right and crush it, civil liberties be damned. The stage is set for revolution and civil war.
It’s not Christian West Indians or Nigerians who threaten Britain: it’s Islam and the aging cowards don’t want to challenge that supremacist faith and it dodgy “prophet” for fear of violence. That’s 90% of it.
