After Cordeleone excommunicated Pelosi and the local pro-aborts were aghast, he observed to a reporter that there were negative reactions to the end of legal segregation, but that they dissipated because the truth was not in segregation, as it is not in abortion, and so over time legal abortion will end. Turning this around: the failure of the TLM to go way because Francis’ Jebby friends don’t like it (or the old doctrines it recalls) suggests the truth is with the TLM. It isn’t going away.
