PopeWatch: Vigano

 

The policy of Pope Francis is let a thousand flowers bloom.  If some of the flowers turn out to be traditional Catholic, he will do his best to tread them underfoot.

In a bizarre way, it was a win/win for both Vigano and Pope Francis. The excomm further burnishes Vigano’s martyr complex and Francis gets to settle a score.

Vigano is Thuc 2.0. A sad end for him, and those who surround and isolate him have much to answer for.

As does the current leadership of Catholicism, but we all know that.

Dale Price: About right. Vigano; A loyal opposition but emphasis on loyal. For PF; a recognition that infallibility is quite constricted as the foolishness of many occupants of the chair of St. Peter have demonstrated.

If he doesn’t believe bergoglio is pope, he is not crazy nor sinful. He could be wrong but he truly believes what he says.
