The Sad and Sorry Truth

Several of the quotes I’ve read from Sean Lennon, not just this one, seem almost conservative. This is not something I would have expecting considering who his parents were.

The best starting point for conservatism was given by a Chadian camel-driver in a National Geographic interview two decades ago. Asked how he safely navigated the Sahara he said: “I never forget that the desert is stronger than me. If I do, I perish.” Reality (God and His created nature, including our own) can likewise be navigated, but never overcome. Liberals think their wits and “education” let them beat Reality, and they crash and burn themselves, institutions and cultures all the time.
