Go here to read the story. Time is on the side of orthodox Catholics.
Say not the struggle nought availeth
Say not the struggle nought availeth,
The labour and the wounds are vain,
The enemy faints not, nor faileth,
And as things have been they remain.
If hopes were dupes, fears may be liars;
It may be, in yon smoke concealed,
Your comrades chase e’en now the fliers,
And, but for you, possess the field.
For while the tired waves, vainly breaking
Seem here no painful inch to gain,
Far back through creeks and inlets making,
Comes silent, flooding in, the main.
And not by eastern windows only,
When daylight comes, comes in the light,
In front the sun climbs slow, how slowly,
But westward, look, the land is bright.
In the 35 years I’ve been at my parish, we have gone from a Protestant Barn with the Eucharistic Chapel off on the side, no votive lights anywhere and a priest that left the priesthood and married his male friend to a completely redone Sacristy space with sacred art, the Tabernacle in the center Nave, a Relic wall near the altar and a millennial priest that reintroduced Gregorian Chant and who’s bulletin article recently discussed why he wouldn’t give Joe Biden communion if he presented himself..
Dear Pope Progressive and or Pope Protestant, for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.
I remember as a 7 year old, being beaten up by a couple of neighborhood toughs who cried “you killed Christ.” At the time I didn’t know who Christ was. To impute blame on the children for the crimes of their fathers is not right, whether it be Jews or Germans.
LKL… Amen.
Going back to move forward in Christ.
