Thought For The Day

Cradle Catholic. Active in the pro-life movement since 1973. Father of three, one in Heaven, and happily married for 43 years. Small town lawyer and amateur historian. Former president of the board of directors of the local crisis pregnancy center for a decade.
Antisemitism and anti-Americanism go hand-in-hand nowadays.
We all know what this is about and who is behind it. I heard that UCLA (!) put up a big jumbotron near the protesters and played videos of the Hamas attacks on Israel on continuous loop. Probably not as effective as water hoses and pepper spray since many of them are just useful idiots, but it might help separate the useful idiots from the demented goats. I say do the videos and 6 hours later, bring in the water hoses and pepper spray. They want the river to the sea; give it to them at 200 psi.
Suppose you hated… lawyers. No problem. Yell, demonstrate, call for the abolition of profession. Even say you hate all lawyers. Fine by me.
But when you occupy the courthouse steps and impede access to the Court, when you threaten lawyers attempting to come to court, when you proclaim that no lawyer should be safe, action is demanded from a civilized state.
