Pray to your guardian angel for help with having a good confession.
And you will.
First Confession for an adult convert is awesome. I had no idea what to expect, but as Father pronounced the words of absolution I felt a wave of physical sensation sweeping from my toes up to the top of my head that I can only describe as the weight of 50 years of sin being pulled out of me. Catholics who don’t confess regularly don’t know what a precious gift they’re missing.
I always feel a physical weight off my shoulders Frank after every Confession.
