How is this not “politicizing” the Eucharist?!?
Abbot is also confined to a wheelchair. The Archbishop is simply a trash human being.
When someone is as openly pro-abortion as Biden, publicly bringing scandal on the Church while claiming to be a Catholic, how can a priest allow him to receive Communion?
George,
The short answer is that he can’t. Though of course materially the Holy Eucharist was given to Biden, it was only death given by one who is dead to another who is dead. In justification of my characterization of this exchange (on the presumption that one who consecrates in mortal sin commits a grave sin):
Sumunt boni, sumunt mali:
sorte tamen inaequali,
vitae vel interitus.
Inasmuch as he will be my bishop by the end of the year, I’ve been keeping an eye on him. So far, it would seem that the best I can say is that he’s not McElroy.
Sadly, yet another one of the absolutely horrible episcopal appointments of Pope Benedict XVI. Sigh.
While I try to avoid judging others for the usual biblical reasons, I would offer the the Arch. a suggestion to do a deep examination of conscience before his next mass.
I am so disgusted with these liberal Democrat priests and bishops. All I can think of is Ezekiel 34:1-10.
