Where are their walkers? Presumably Scooby-Doo would be Scooby-Doo VI, at least. Daphne and Fred really need to have their hair coloring hidden away from them by Velma and Shaggy. I couldn’t wait to hear them complaining about their “meddlesome kids” spoiling their efforts to escape their nursing home and go on new adventures.

Aging naturally and gracefully is the way to do it IMHO.
I wander if the nursing home staff believe them when they say they see ghosts. 🤔
I still love the early episodes and make sure my grandkids know what REAL cartoons look like. NO PBS for them.
Dave, to expand on this, I learned physics from Wiley Coyote, and interesting historical tidbits about WW2 from watching WB cartoons. (Modern WB cartoons are dross.)
That picture seems optimistic about hairlines.
Yeah. Shaggy would now be called that only in an ironic sense. Waistlines too.
Ezabelle:
Surely a nursing home would offer many opportunities for ‘ghosts’: “The Mystery of the Missing Dentures,Eyeglasses, Medication, etc.” Endless possibilities! 🙂
Our lack of creativity is showing.

Tom- ha! Good point – It sounds like me most days, (except substitute those items with car keys, phone and tv remote).
I think it is Velma, not Vera
Thanks for catching that Bob! Corrected.
Isn’t one of the attributes of some cartoon characters is that they stay pretty much the same age, and are timeless?
Yes Greg. In fact someone made a cartoon on youtube explaining this phenomena in a VERY dark way.
(In fact it’s so dark, notice I didn’t post it so you could play it here, but need to click the link to see it.)
