PopeWatch: Bishopess
Donald R. McClarey
Cradle Catholic. Active in the pro-life movement since 1973. Father of three, one in Heaven, and happily married for 41 years. Small town lawyer and amateur historian. Former president of the board of directors of the local crisis pregnancy center for a decade.
Of course, the Protestant revolt was always about replacing Christ with an over-the-top personality disrupting the truths of the faith with novelty tickling the mob’s itchy ears.
The Anglicans should be less role models and more a glaring example of FAFO!
If only the Catholic Church would become less Catholic. Just another one of 40,000 protestant churches. Then we can all agree to disagree in union. No authority. No Magisterium.
A happy hippie church of nice.
Nahhh.
I love Our Mother despite the weather inside and outside the dome.
” I love Our Mother despite the weather inside and outside the dome.” Especially the lightening striking the Dome.
The Anglicans believe that the Holy Eucharist is a “symbol” of Jesus Christ. We believe that the Holy Eucharist is Jesus Christ, the Real Presence.
Therefore, the bishopess is a symbol of a priest and/or a bishop and the Anglican’s reality.
