I’m confused, Don.
I wanted to know what the officer was pointing at, so I looked up Bl. Marie.
The accounts I found speak of an older aristocrat whose husband was executed by the revolutionaries and his clergy in her home?

I’d love to see the full story on this martyr. I suspect she has much to say about our darkening times.
All the online sources are in French, a language I do not speak or read. I confused her with Blessed Marie-Louise du Verdier de La Sorinière. Corrected.
I would imagine that the French Revolution produced so many martyrs that only God can keep them straight.
I don’t read French either. Also born too late to have been pushed through Latin or Greek 😂
