A priest is supposed to be married to Christ, The Church, God. His devotion is serving God’s people. When a parishioner is distraught or in great need, even at 3am, the priest is spouse, a support, a help in hopeless situations.
The great theologians described agape love, which surpasses all other forms, in nothing less than the complete emptying of oneself for another.
Young adults especially need that knowledge and in imitation of Christ, seek their inner self to want to copy the master in this highest form of love.
I have not read the author’s work, other than a few lines that resemble a exercise in erotica, v theological insights. If his mission, as young priest, was to translate the greatest love ever known to man for the benefit of young adults, one might not question his true motivation, since orgasm is focal point at union with God?

I think it has become optional in recent years, but if such endorsements exist, they should be made known.
