There are no substitutes.
The acts are not signs of love between two disorderd persons. The “love is love” mentality advances a lie. If the sins required God’s intervention to the point of hellfire on two ancient cities, then why on earth would you disagree with what our brothers in Africa are doing and saying?
One reason could be that the leadership of communities large and small have given up on true Love They have accepted a false mercy. The ape of God.
Not so in Africa.
God is love
God doesn’t condone sodomy.

God Bless them. 3 of the priests from our Parish, including the Parish priest are African. Tradition, family and respect is strong amongst their communities and they regret to it in their homilies.
African nations are trying to tackle HIV and other diseases spread through homosexuality and promiscuity. Theirs is also a practical response. How completely oblivious and irresponsible can the Vatican be that they have no understanding of such issues.

Oh, they understand them. They just don’t care, because enlisting the Church in endorsing self-affirmation for the SSA’s and forcing it on the rest of us is more important to them.
I believe that The Lord is removing the gray areas, that each of us will find ourselves on one side of the chasm or the other and that there is no third choice.
The divide becomes more obvious every day, as if He is saying “Look, this is going to be very clear, OK? I’m making it way easy so there won’t be any chance of misunderstanding. You decide where you’re going to stand.”
Once the middle has been emptied, the blade will fall.
