It usually goes like this:
1. Where’d the Bible come from?
2. Let’s read John 6?
3. Jesus is on earth; He’s in every Tabernacle.
4. There’s Eucharistic Adoration nearby. Would you 2 like to go?
(There’s a look of incredulousness, sometimes anger that it’s not supposed to go this way, then the 2 leave. Always have I planted a seed. Last thing I say is “Thank you for taking these questions seriously, so many people don’t-“)
I once gave two Jehovah’s Witnesses a copy of the tape Contraception, Why Not. They returned it a week later–it looked like they had maybe listened to half of it–basically threw it at me when I met them at the door and ran away.
I don’t think I made any converts.
