Looks like the Secretary of State, Democrat of course, of Maine is trying to remove Trump from the ballot as well. SCOTUS might need to speak up soon, I’m guessing.
As always with the Democratic elite, you cannot figure out if it’s the bubble-dweller effect or if they’re just sociopaths.
I was wondering exactly who got to determine who has engaged in insurrection.

How low we have fallen. The sort of “reasoning” being utilized by the Trump-haters on this issue doesn’t even rise to the level of sophistry, as that would require some degree of subtlety and rhetorical skill. Lawyers of my generation (and that of our host) would have been laughed out the door of our law school classrooms for engaging in such juvenile arguments.
We already have a civil war going on in the courts. Each states AG, if D or R , are swinging at each other’s heads. States are not lined up as neatly as in the 1860’s but an UNcivil war will breakout if the Supreme Court doesn’t start standing up for the Constitution and do its job. Act like the future of the free world depends on it because it does.
