PopeWatch: Green Religion

Pope Francis is pontificating on issues where he has bupkis expertise, while the Church he purports to lead is rent by divisions, some of which he has fostered and exacerbated.  Sound advice for all future popes:  Don’t do what Francis did.

There’s something very strange about an Evangelical who deny’s the existence of fossils when their car runs on fossil fuel. I’ve met such people.
Now we have strange Catholics, even a Pope!, who does not give Thanks to God for fossil fuel, this Gift!, but instead calls it evil.

All this silliness over a couple of 100 parts-per-million CO2 which has done nothing but increased vegetation on earth.
One couldn’t think of a better way to introduce totalitarianism, a Tower of Babel mentality and cruelty to developing countries of poor if you tried.

Al Gore, soon to be proclaimed Doctor of the Church and Greta as Immaculate Deception.

Some time ago ROME became Roam.
So sad.

Just for kicks;

Yeah, OKfine. The bishop of Rome clearly is embarrassed by or very uninterested in bringing souls to Christ through the RCC.

I don’t believe in the fiction of anthropogenic global warming, but I do believe that dumping hundreds of millions if not billions of tons of pollutants into the atmosphere every year from burning fossil fuel will have unknown, undesired, and injurious impact on people’s health. Replacement of fossil fuel with low capacity factor, high environmental footprint renewable energy is a worthless, useless scheme. So you all know what I am going to say: go nuclear. Nuclear energy has the lowest mortality rate, the highest capacity factor, the smallest envrionmental footprint, and the least pollution of any other form of energy generation – period. One other thing: renewable energy pollutes as much as if not more than fossil fuel with toxic metal discharge from solar cell manufacture, discard of fiber glass blades from unused wind turbines, oil leakage from wind turbine transmissions, etc.

The Pope is an idiot. He knows nothing about energy, science, technology, etc. He also knows nothing about Catholic theology. Depose and anathematize Jorge Mario Bergoglio!

His hate for fossil fuel could backfire as their coveted and loved (gaudy) vestments are brought to you by fossil fuels! Without them, polyester wouldn’t exist!

Doesn’t the Pope’s favorite artist, Rupnik the rapist, work mainly in oils?

Pope Francis’ job is to bring Jesus Christ to all people in the world. Pope Francis’ job is to minister to the sovereign persons in every nation.
Issues like Climate Change, AI, overpopulation, Pachamamma, Mother Nature are not sovereign persons and therefore cannot consume Pope Francis’ vocation.

Lucius, this movement, from what o can discern has nothing to do with the environment bc all these big polluters have to do is buy carbon credits and presto! It’s all good.
I guess we got our preview when PF listed US as worst offender and not China.
Which China, btw, benefits from all these green things.
They are not concerned that old solar panels will put poison in soil.
And when everyone except elite and wealthy cannot eat etc, they will sell carbon credits to wealthy

Interesting isn’t it that the Pope who despises fossil fuels has no concern about the damage being done to the people who must rape the earth for the rare minerals required for batteries.
