Thought For The Day

Amazing that America produced two of the Great Captains of History to oppose each other.  At the conclusion of the struggle these two men joined in calls for peace and reconciliation to make sure their Civil War would not be merely the prelude to unending civil wars in our common country.

“One person cannot own another person” Abraham Lincoln.
“One soul cannot own another soul” Aquinas?
” I give myself to you heart and soul” was a song condemned by the church in the 1950s
Sovereign persons belong to “their Creator” (Declaration) body and soul. Mankind belongs to God. Man is the adopted children of God. No finite man knows how to own another’s soul. Tyranizing a person or persons is the epitome of the lie.
In the economics of God, to what purpose does a person want to own another person’s soul?
Charity is the epitome of love.
Husband and wife give their body in love. Husband and wife may share the love in their soul with one another. The sovereign person’s soul belongs to God. God is present in every marriage act. God said “You are men sacred to me for I, the Lord, your God am sacred.” Sex is sacred because man is sacred. 
Is the tyrant willing to go to hell for the soul of his victim? Jesus Christ did.
