The hilarious thing about this attempt to portray Trump as an orange hair Hitler in waiting is that Trump has already been president. Except for 2020, the Covid year, Trump, mean tweets aside, ran a fairly conventional conservative Republican administration. He brought us prosperity and kept us almost entirely out of war. That fact, and the abysmal failure of the current administration, is why Trump is leading in the polls. He did this in the face of constant opposition from the Federal bureaucracy, completely a tool of the Democrat party. Trump’s chief weakness as a president, was his failure to bring the bureaucracy to heel. He was ill served by his appointments as Cabinet members and heads of agencies, who swiftly became captives of the bureaucracy they were supposed to command. The idea that the same resistance will not occur in a second Trump administration is farcical. The Left fears that Trump will do unto them as they have done to Trump and his supporters. The Left is almost entirely projection these days. Trump has private security he pays for in addition to the Secret Service. That is good, and he will likely need every ounce of security, because the Left is working itself up into a hysterical killing frenzy.

Whomever the corrupt left fears, gets my vote.
I completely agree.
The next Trump presidency will be “worse”.
He now knows what the administrative state is – and has had four years to ruminate on it.
They should be afraid of the good he could do. I hope he does it.
I just hope (a) Trump can beat the cheat, which will be even worse than last time, and (b) if he does, the Dems actually allow him to take office. I am sure they will try to stop it, I just don’t know their plans. A military coup is not off the table, IMO. That, of course, would mean Civil War II, a disaster for everyone. Pray for this election as never before, that God will help us to avoid such a fate.
…. and the comic book entitled,
If Uncle Joe wins / steals the Election.
Unfortunately it would mean another Comic Con at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

An unnerving number of conservative-leaning commanders have been ‘relieved for lack of confidence” in the last couple years …
In addition, it is getting more difficult for the dems to continue to provide cover for the Biden financial problems. It is already too late to pull the rug from under Biden/Harris at the Iowa caucus and pretty soon it will be too late to try it at the Democrat convention. Their actions in 2020 with the basement candidate and the quota queen and backfiring big time.
There is a conservative, former Secret Service agent, pro life, devout Catholic, radio host who has the Russ Linbaugh time slot. Dan Bongino is very concerned that there will be attempts on former President Trump’s life. He points to the “hysterical killing frenzy” of the Left.
Rep Steve Scalise (R – LA) spent months in a hospital recovering from an assassin’s bullets. The shooter was a Democrat campaign worker of the Marxist Senator from Vermont, Bernie Sanders. We see how the Left and the media and members of Congress with the help of paid protestors have enflamed students against Jews.
Trump is winning some of the lawsuits. What means is left to keep him from being the GOP nominee? Violence? With the co-opted members of the FBI, DOJ, CIA, possibly Secret Service it’s possible an assassin could succeed.
If Trump wins you know at least one prominent leftist politician will make the following argument:
“Um, akshaully it turns out that Donald Trump also won in 2020, but that means that he’s already had his two terms and is ineligible to be president again! Checkmate, Republicans!”
Mark my words. They are spiteful and shameless enough to do it.
I hope he wins.
I wonder what the true and dedicated readership of The Atlantic actually numbers? It can’t be too many outside of the ranks of parroting pundits that seem to always use it as Gospel. Otherwise it wouldn’be kept on life support by whoever’s-wife-it-is that’s propping it up.
“Um, akshaully it turns out that Donald Trump also won in 2020, but that means that he’s already had his two terms and is ineligible to be president again! Checkmate, Republicans!”
Trump would have had to be sworn in as President for any and all terms
