St. Nicholas, pray for us.
Just curious….
I wonder if mommy buys that “reproductive healthcare” crap that whitewashes the truth that children are killed by the thousands, or is that a bit much for mommy to believe in? She would rather be in Reproductive rights. (?)
I hope I’m wrong about mommy.
She may have had an upbringing that was void of charitable fun. Grinches do exist.
When I was allowed to see them, I always told my biological children that Santa Claus is real, he is a saint in Heaven with Jesus, and he watches over all little children everywhere.

And I still tell my grandchildren the same.
I think this appropriate.

A fascinating fictional origin story for St. Nicholas/Santa Claus can be found in the book “The Immortal Nicholas” by Glenn Beck (yes, THE Glenn Beck). It ties St. Nick to the Wise Men and Jesus and actually reminded me a bit of the novel “Ben Hur”, which features the Wise Men very prominently.
