News that I missed, courtesy of The Babylon Bee:

NEW YORK, NY — Planned Parenthood, in an effort to remain on the cutting edge of progressive language, has announced the new proper term for an unborn baby is “womb colonizer.”

“It’s a perfect description for those little parasites,” said Planned Parenthood spokeswoman Gertrude Mantrap in the press release. “As the authority on procreation and the termination of life, we here at Planned Parenthood will now require everyone to use the new ‘womb colonizer’ term whenever an unborn blob of cells is referenced. Thank you.”

Though the new term is already causing some level of controversy, certain members of the scientific community are in agreement. “It really is an ingenious new title,” said renowned science expert Niel deGrasse Tyson. “When you really consider all of the factors at play here, it’s evident that these unborn babies really are simply unwelcome foreign invaders within a woman’s womb, and should be treated as such. I am a spokesman for science, and I have spoken. For science.”

Feminists nationwide hailed the announcement as a significant advancement for women. “It’s high time these womb colonizers get the treatment they deserve!” said purple-haired progressive woman Gwen Frump. “No one has the right to set up shop in my uterus! DIE, COLONIZERS!”

Go here to read the rest.  With the passage this evening of the extreme pro-abort amendment to the Ohio constitution the pro-aborts are riding high.  (I can imagine what would happen if the Ten Commandments if they were put to a popular referendum!)  The overturning of Roe was not the end of the pro-life struggle but merely a new phase for it.  Reagan always loved this couplet:

“Fight on my men,”says Sir Andrew Barton,
I am hurt,but I am not slain;
I’ll lay me down and bleed a-while,
And then I’ll rise and fight again”.”

― Thomas Moore

We have too many souls past and future depending upon us in this great struggle for human life to ever give up the fight.

Amen.
The fight is far from over.
As long as this holocaust continues we will be visible and unafraid. The Face act be damned.

Abortion is murder.

I have to say, as a Buckeye, the pro-choice side earned it. Our bishop did yeoman’s work, and some local GOP offices were out there. But statewide, the GOP was all but silent. Governor DeWine did a commercial, a rather low key and conciliatory one, opposing the amendment. There were a few commercials from a handful of agencies. Major pro-life opposition was very little, and the state GOP was absent. For every one commercial opposing it, I saw two dozen supporting it. And not just in terms of commercials. There just wasn’t much effort behind the opposition to the amendment, at least compared to the get out and go effort of its supporters. Driving around the state over the last month on some trips, I’d say the signs in yards were about four to one in favor of it. We feared before yesterday that the results were a forgone conclusion. For a state that went crazy red in the last midterms, we swung back blue yesterday (local elections in our area, with few exceptions, when to Democrats, as did the legalizing of marijuana).

We have too many souls past and future depending upon us in this great struggle for human life to ever give up the fight.”
That quote out to be in every Catholic church bulletin in my state of Virginia.

In Virginia I texted members of prayer chains, “On Sunday did your priest remind the congregation to vote and vote for pro-life candidates?”
Only one YES answer. Her husband is a deacon and was the homilist that Sunday. They reside in Lake Charles, LA.

The Virginia Assembly is now blue in both houses.

I believe it was H.L. Mencken that said “The voters get the government they deserve, good and hard.”

Philip, it wasn’t just money, it was effort. Pro-choice advocates and Issue 1 advocates have been pounding the pavement since the beginning of the year. I had a total of two people stop by our house who weren’t advocating leftwing or Democrat issues or candidates. Many who were. I had people approach me in parking lots and in local internet groups the chatter was easily 3 to 1 in favor of blue agendas and pols. The money is no doubt some of the problem, but overall the opposition seems lacking at best.

Understood.

Michigan’s Fight like Heaven campaign utilized door to door canvassing as well but I’m questioning the total territory covered. Lansing and Traverse City I was aware of, but I’m not sure about much of the Eastern side and Western side of the State was covered. Regardless, your right that’s it not all about treasure chest size, but those commercials have an impact, especially on the undecided voters..imho.
