I wish Raho and the rest of his little tribe would just come out and admit that they think Francis is Christ and get it overwith.
Raho and his crew not only believe Francis is the new jesus, they believe the LORD was/is wrong about a great many things.
Which means they believe in nothing except their own agenda and Francis is just a means to an end.
Wise men tend to wonder if they are the fool. Fools are usually certain that they’re the smartest person in the room.
“He is a man of 5th rate intellect promoted far above his meager abilities.”
Another first for Francis. “Is the Pope Catholic?” used to indicate something that was blatantly obvious, now converted to a legitimate moral question. Now, as Don notes, he give the Peter Principle a new definition in Catholic theology and it isn’t because he is a successor to St. Peter.
Experience is the difference. Just War theory comes from the mind of St. Thomas, living through a period of constant warfare in Italy, while PF rejects it having lived a life of comparative traquility in Argentina. (I hazard a guess that a H.S. theology teacher from the North Side of Chicago has a similar life experience free from the realities of warfare, although it is Chicago.)
