O Angel of God

O Angel of God, my Guardian Dear, to whom God’s love commits thee here, ever this night be at my side, to light, to guard, to rule, to guide.  Amen.

Thank you, my guardian angel.
Our priest mentioned that our guardian angel learns mercy and forgiveness from our struggles, our striving to shed vice and gain virtue in it’s place. My poor angel must be thinking that he was given the most pitiful human in the planet.
How God has picked me up from so many falls.
Forgiven me so many times.

I can almost see my angel shaking his head and rolling his eyes…yet, he is helping me along.

May I listen to you dear angel and do what you suggest as I stumble along in this valley of tears.

God bless our angels.

Truly one of the most comforting feast/memorial days (“Holy Guardian Angels”) in the entire Church calendar.

How lucky we are that God has assigned Guardian Angels to always be by our sides. A very special feast. I am told that we can ask the guardian angels of others to be especially vigilant for them. Many of us can recall an incident or a near miss that we can credit to a guardian angel.

Philip has given me food for thought. If my Guardian Angel rolls his eyes, then he must be a Throne because only they have enough eyes to roll.
