My love for my Bride burns brighter now than when when we were wed in 1982, and it burned brightly then. My dying mother told me that I was marrying a wonderful girl who was loving, kind and who would look after me when she was gone. And so it has been through three kids, and four eventful decades filled with the joys and tragedies of life. I would be completely lost without her.

Amen. In my case, it was a message from the Lord as I was walking down the aisle at our wedding 45 years ago. “She’s a good woman”. My wife has lived 1 Corinthians 13 every day since then.
A very lucky man, indeed.
A very blessed man.
It is a humongous blessing to have a marriage that is in union with God. The perfect triangle.
That’s how I see our life together.
It takes three. Husband, wife and God.
He is our bonding agent…so to speak.
You are blessed to have each other Don.
I must add as a side note: I can’t help but notice the increasing amount of women (older and younger) that I see who use fillers and rely on surgery to change their God given features. Nothing wrong with aging gracefully, I would have thought.
