The USA has always been the target, not the long dead CSA.

It will have to be the Spirit and Conviction of the soldiers who fought at Valley Forge to rid ourselves of the communists who are mutilating our Republic.
We will not go down without a fight.
Cousin against cousin.
As horrible as that sounds, it is likely that it will come down to that, as the spirit of anti-christ builds momentum.
Joseph Stalin Biden is helping to build that communist culture in America. Not rebuke it.
Someone should start an authentic (non-narrative) U.S. History Museum and collect all these statues and items that are being cancelled. They’ll be jettisoning the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution soon.
Agreed CAG.
I see factions that exists that would call the Declaration of Independence racist and the idea of a creator who gives man indelible rights would be considered blasphemous in their toxic bubble.
Not that long ago Catholic churches were being swept up by the spirit of V2. Removal of statues, communion rails and the relocation of tabernacles became commonplace. It happened to our church as well. Thank God parishionersdemanded that those statues and railings be safeguarded in private property.
After the collapse of religious vocations and the holiness of a courageous priest, the former interior began to be resurrected. Families brought back the railings, the statues and most definitely the faith of our fathers. Vocations to religious life started blooming again.
The Truth always wins.
Sometimes the darkness must gain a foothold in order for the appreciation of The Light.

The constant rejoinder of “that won’t happen” is less and less convincing.
Brings to mind A Man for All Seasons when Norfolk tells Thomas More “This isn’t Spain, you know.” Later, during his persecution, Cromwell throws those very words back in his face.
Unbridled state power, surveillance state, complicit clergy. Fun times ahead.
CAG- I second Philip- that’s a great idea. What a shame if history was destroyed and nobody safeguarded these monuments/items until the madness subsided i the future.
The Richmond Black History Museum has taken title to five Confederate statues that were removed from downtown.
The warehouse location is kept secret. It has many other statues taken down from Confederate memorials to the dead. However if there are graves below the monuments the memorials cannot be disturbed. Most of the statues and memorials were paid for by women’s groups to honor their dead kin.
were paid for by women’s groups to honor their dead kin.
A proposal was once made to have the Federal government take over care of the graves of Confederate soldiers. It was declined politely with the comment that as long as there were women in the South those graves would not lack for care. In 1990 my Bride and I were at a small, obscure skirmish site in South Carolina near Charleston. There was a monument put up by The Daughters of the Confederacy with the names of the six Confederate soldiers who perished there, along with the statement that they died in a just cause. It had been put up in the twenties but it was absolutely pristine with the grass around it carefully mowed.
“were paid for by women’s groups to honor their dead kin.”
This is their Last Will and Testament; their legacy.
To desecrate their Last will and Testament is to desecrate every person’s Last Will and Testament.
