They will get their tithing through force via taxes (like Germany) and the kids come pre-groomed. I mean, when you aren’t against it….

From what I’ve seen Catholic Social Teaching advocates appear to have a preferential option for governmental solutions. They also appear to view the government as the universal destination for power. The idolatry of government.

The social encyclicals are a work in progress. A conscientious public official would be quite puzzled attempting to construct actual policies inspired by them.

Art Deco: I was referring to the behavior of the CST advocates that is done in the name of CST. The open fraud that is the seamless garment that has been torn into rags whenever necessary. Pretty much a DIY version of the selling of indulgences. The unwillingness to enact Canon 915. The capitulation of many to the pandemic and the jab. The government is treated as if it is all powerful, all knowing, with unlimited resources. The CST advocates actions would suggest that the government has the power of the multiplication of the loaves and the fishes. We are talking about a corrupting concentration of power in the government.

The seamless garment is Jesus Christ’s, innocent and pure, woven by the Blessed Virgin Mary, herself.
