And yet it is in everyone’s interests that he hang on and complete his term to avoid a President Kamala and all the turmoil and crisis that would generate. Domestic policy would be a worse mess than it is now and it would give Xi and Putin new opportunities to destabilize world order. The Democrats have the opportunity to present a new team at the 2024 convention if they can get organized enough to do it.
