Dave Griffey Keeps an Eye On Mark Shea So You Don’t Have To

Mark Shea and Martin Niemöller

Alrighty then:

In a nutshell, since the State is ever just, I’m sure they all had it coming.

I was going to write up a big post about this, since I haven’t bothered with Shea for some time.  But  I figured it speaks for itself.  It’s worth posting if only to see a mentality we’ve seen too many times throughout the sad story of human history.   That’s why we shouldn’t be shocked when we see it again.

Go here to read the comments.  Shea, the Eternal Convert, is a born again Leftist.    He fully subscribes to this comment ascribed to the dictator of Peru:  General Óscar Benavides: “For my friends, everything; for my enemies, the law.”.  Nazi Germany never lacked recruits for the SS who served as concentration guards, just as the NKVD never lacked recruits for guards in Stalin’s gulags.  Cue CS Lewis:

“Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron’s cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience. They may be more likely to go to Heaven yet at the same time likelier to make a Hell of earth. This very kindness stings with intolerable insult. To be “cured” against one’s will and cured of states which we may not regard as disease is to be put on a level of those who have not yet reached the age of reason or those who never will; to be classed with infants, imbeciles, and domestic animals.”

Of course in Shea’s case he believes Trump is an anti-Christ and his followers demonic.  He does not seek to cure but to eradicate politically what he opposes.

I was watching Moby Dick and he reminds me of Captain Ahab (Shea does).
That’s the only thing nice I can say.

Does Shea ever make remarks on this sort of thing? The most intense point of controversy is located about a five hour drive from his house.

Has anyone in the soi-disant ‘human rights lobby’ ever protested legislation like this, or are they too busy trashing Israel?

No he said something and if you remind me of the name I can find it for you.

I just find it funny how nobody cared about Trump’s charities until he changed parties. If there’s one thing Shea and his ilk have proven is that who needs Jesus? Become a democrat and you’ll have all your sins covered now. After all, we all know it’s only a crime when a republican does it.

Nate, that’s not really a joke. Remember a year or so ago I linked to a post of Mark’s where he said avowed Satanists, no matter their advocacy for abortion or sexual immorality, could skip through the Pearly Gates as long as they earned their way by doing good works. In fairness to Shea, however, that’s the impression you get from Pope Francis. While it’s nice to believe in Jesus or follow Church teaching about things like abortion or sexuality, those aren’t deal breakers. What we do come down on like a ton of bricks is challenging leftwing activism where issues like climate or immigration or Covid is concerned.

Did you catch this? The culture of the professional-managerial class in our time is awful. As usual in these stories, the name of the official responsible is not published. These criminals need to be named and shunned by their neighbors.

“Shea is a nuisance; people like Mantilla are a menace.”
Indeed. Stupidity and arrogance combined with power over others.

Once people see that the information coming out of Mayo Clinic College of medicine is a prescribed narrative and not the genuine scientific findings from in depth research and proper discourse, the Mayo Clinic will loose credibility amongst the general public. Prof. Joyner won’t harm their brand, they will harm their own brand going down this rabbit hole.

I referred to Mayo Clinic information online when I had Hodgkins Lymphoma years ago to look at current findings regarding my illness, as I knew their information was one of the most current medical research published.

If this prescribed narrative was going on back when I was gathering my own information for my illness, I wouldn’t look twice at Mayo Clinic if you paid me.

You don’t employ good people so you can tell them what to do, you employ those good people so they can tell you what to do.

This “influencer” lol was hired to push you all gently to the left. He’s not any good at it, so now, as these frauds always do, he flies his true colors. God save us from professional “Catholics”.

The transformation of the left from “down with the man” to “please sir, may I lick your boots again?” has been something to behold.
