As I told my Bride when we were courting, she had nothing to fear from good looking women. A good looking war game on the other hand–
Risk and Ukraine

Donald R. McClarey
Cradle Catholic. Active in the pro-life movement since 1973. Father of three, one in Heaven, and happily married for 43 years. Small town lawyer and amateur historian. Former president of the board of directors of the local crisis pregnancy center for a decade.
Risk was our go-to game whenever we weren’t in school and the weather did not favor dawn-to-dusk baseball pickup games. So in our neighborhood, a LOT of games of Risk were played. I loved it. Donald, I wonder if you have tried the electronic version? I have looked at it on Steam but I don’t like multiplayer games with strangers, and the “me vs. the game AI” doesn’t sound that exciting. So I haven’t tried it yet.
I have it in my steam downloads but I haven’t tried it yet. Too many games; too little time.
Blitzkrieg was my good looking game. Also really liked Tobruk.
Blitzkrieg was way ahead of its time. I am surprised that Avalon Hill did not run with it and come out with a game with random terrain that would cover multiple eras. SPI did it with Strategy I:

This is a great look for you….the Ukrainians you cheerlead are getting slaughtered and you go on about board games and a Seinfeld episode.
I am sure Edison that you can spend Putin’s coin better elsewhere. You are banned from this blog.
